General

Is it possible to download my music directly to my smartphone and play it there?

If you are using a device with Android OS, you can download each track individually and play them on your device. Unfortunately, this is not possible with iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod). iOS users will need to first download their music to their desktop computer and then sync them to their device via iTunes.

How do I transfer tracks to my Smartphone or MP3 player?

To transfer a track to an iPod, you will first need to add it to your iTunes library. The track will be transferred to your iPod the next time you ‘sync’ your music. The procedure for transferring downloads to an MP3 player varies according to the type of device you are using. You may need to consult the user manual or help pages for your player for detailed instructions. If your MP3 player is linked to your music library, in most cases you will need to add a download to this library and it will be transferred to your player the next time you sync your music.

I can't play the music I downloaded on my MP3 player or smartphone.

If you have downloaded a ZIP file, make sure that it is completely finished downloading before you unzip it. Once the ZIP file has been unzipped, make sure you have downloaded the proper format for your device. MP3 is compatible with all almost current devices. Please check the specifications of your device to see what file formats are compatible.

Make sure that the format in which you downloaded your music is compatible with your device. Usually, MP3 should work just fine with most current devices. Check with the manufacturer's instructions to make sure you have correctly transferred the song files to your device.

Which formats are compatible with my iPod / MP3 player / mobile?

MP3 is universally compatible, so you can play our MP3 music files on iPods, iPhones and other Apple products, and they are also ideal for mobile phones and any MP3 player.

We also offer a large portion of our catalogue in AAC, which is compatible with iPods, iTunes and iPhones.
